Echo

Bar Amar, born in Jerusalem, is a Shenkar graduate in visual communications. Amar examines in her works the tension between black and white, light and shadow, whole and missing.

Just like the way a painter uses canvas, Bar sees in the raw cardboard the space in which she moves and connects the various disciplines - graphic design - architectural and art.
ECHO series - presents a visual translation of the word ‘echo’’, similar to the reflection of a sound that comes to the listener in delay to the original sound, the same delay occurs in an architectural space where the 2D creates an illusion of 3D by embossing, flattening, lights and shadows.

In her works, Bar chooses the minimalism of black and white, which is drawn from the architectural language using feelings and emotions through various doses and materialities
